State-Specific Rates of Primary and Secondary Syphilis Among Men Who Have Sex with Men — United States, 2015

Led by DSTDP colleagues at CDC, an MMWR released on April 7, displaying the first state-level rates of primary and secondary syphilis. This has received substantial media attention, including the Associated Press and CBS News. A follow-up manuscript led by Jeremy Grey extends this work by race among MSM and is currently in press at the Journal of Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndromes. This work was also accepted for presentation at the ISSTDR STI & HIV World Congress this July.
